What to expect when you attend Trinity Reformed Baptist Church

During Family Bible Hour, our congregation meets to sit under the teaching of God’s Word. The teaching focuses on books of the Bible, doctrine, church history, and Christian living.

God determines how He is worshiped. At Trinity Reformed Baptist Church, we strive to follow the principles and patterns God prescribes in Scripture. Here are the elements you will find in our Lord’s Day worship.

Reading the Word: We believe it is our duty to read Scripture publicly. Therefore, we read a call to worship, a selected text from either the Old Testament or New Testament, the passage being preached, and a benediction.

Preaching of the Word: We set aside a significant portion of our Lord’s Day worship for the preaching of God’s Word. During this time, the Word of God is opened, read, interpreted, explained, and applied.

Prayer: We pray multiple times throughout our worship. We ask the Lord to bless our worship; we pray for our members, local congregations, and our government officials; we thank the Lord for His goodness and praise Him as the blessed God; we ask the Lord to aid us as we seek to live for His glory.

Singing:  We sing to one another in the form of congregational singing. We sing Psalms from The Book of Psalms for Worshipand use Hymns of Grace as our hymnal.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper: We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are a means of grace received through faith alone. We baptize those who have made a profession of faith in Christ Jesus, and we partake of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday.

We close our Lord’s Day with a fellowship meal and a Bible Study. If you desire to attend our Sunday evening study and meal, please contact us for the place and time.

Our church gathers to pray through the Lord’s Prayer on Wednesday evenings. We also pray for the needs of our congregation and thank God for His gracious provision.

We invite families with children to join us for all gatherings and see children as a welcome addition. We offer a cry room for parents with young children and nursing mothers during Family Bible Hour and our Sunday Morning Worship.
